Inside Sales Representative

Itamar Medical is a medical technology company focused on the development, marketing and sales of diagnostic products based on its proprietary PAT platform technology, developed by a team of leading clinicians in sleep medicine and cardiology together with biomedical engineers and physicists. 

WatchPAT is an FDA-approved portable diagnostic device that uniquely uses finger-based physiology and innovative technology to enable simple and accurate Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA) testing while avoiding the complexity and discomfort associated with traditional air-flow based systems.

This role is a key supporting position for the US Region.  This position is responsible for maintaining and expanding our existing customer relationships and

attracting new customers through inside sales.

Primary Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Serving as the 1st point of contact with the customers and/or patients
  • Handle general customer Billing/Invoices questions
  • Assist with customer account questions and resolution
  • Receive orders
  • Assist with EndoPAT, Leads and follow-up
  • Receive credit card payment info
  • Deal with account corrections (e.g. tax exemption correction, NPI, etc., Bill to, Ship to)
  • Deal with disconnection between an approved quote and the PO 
  • Process Opportunities in Salesforce
  • Assist RSM’s with Salesforce
  • Assist RSM’s with Sales Process, Pricing, Quotes and Agreements
  • Transfer an opportunity from a wrong account
  • Create new opportunities (when existing opportunities are not accurate or when no opportunity was created)
  • Correct Incorrect Opportunities
  • Deal with account corrections (e.g. tax exemption correction, NPI, etc., Bill to, Ship to)
  • Approach the RSMs for new quotes (e.g. in case address does not match, in case PO$>is higher then the approval amount etc.)
  • Verify quote information and create quotes (e.g. quantities, prices, bill to ship to)
  • Handle accounting issues requested by the RSMs
  • New Contract Review – check the boxes and submit for approval
  • Process Returns

Core Competencies, Skills and Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication skills, particularly over the phone.
  • Intellectual ability to learn product and services quickly
  • Experienced with telephone sales, customer service and sales prospecting and ability to handle rejection
  • Knowledge of sales and marketing principles and strategies
  • Demonstrated time management, professionalism and motivation with generating sales
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to follow systematic script to properly qualify leads. 
  • Results driven with demonstrated persistence; self-motivated with the strong initiative to work independently with strong attention to detail.
  • Experience with CRM ( and Marketing Automation Software (Pardot, Eloqua etc…) to create and execute lead generation and nurturing a plus.
  • Good computer skills; MS Office Suite (Word, PPT, Excel, Outlook etc…)
  • Ability to work in a deadline-oriented environment.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in communications, marketing, advertising or related field or relevant experience
  • 2-3 years of experience in relevant work experience in sales, marketing, promotions or telemarketing

  • Body motor skills enough to enable incumbent to move from one office location to another.
