Marketing Specialist – Events

Location: Broomfield, CO

Data Management

As the Marketing Specialist, you will assist with the successful execution of marketing events; effectively collaborating with internal stakeholders, and managing customers, partners, and vendors. You will also assist with marketing campaign coordination and departmental support.
Successful candidates thrive in a fast-paced environment and must possess exceptional project management, organizational skills, communication, and event coordination skills.


Event Coordination (75%)

•Assist with the coordination and execution of ZOLL Data Systems’ Summit Annual User Conference and other events, such as tradeshows, virtual events, customer training, webinars, speakerships, employee events, and marketing team outings. 

•Coordinate event logistics administration, such as but not limited to processing registrations, payments and refunds, ordering event materials/monitoring shipping status, printing/shipping collateral as needed, creating event-related content, and coordinating speakers and event staffing  

•Monitor event scope and timeline; ensuring deliverables are on track, and status updates are regularly communicated to stakeholders 

•Coordinate the efforts of creative partners, vendors, internal teams, and the broader Marketing team to ensure the timely delivery of creative briefs, event content, communication, and promotional materials

•Assist with the event website/app, and timely execution of marketing campaigns and components to drive event awareness, engagement, registrations, and lead retrieval 

•Assist with the updating of KPI reports in Excel and PPT, and assist with the evaluation of event and campaign results

•Assist with the researching of industry trends, key audiences’ event/conference behaviors to continually push ZOLL Data Systems strategy/presence to the next level  

•Assist with event admin support, such as invoices, expense tracking/reporting, membership/association coordination, direct mail projects, etc.

Campaign Coordination and Departmental Admin Support (25%)

•Facilitating and coordinating marketing, product, and sales tool content and creative production, such as product notifications, webinar design package, print, website, and social media  

•Driving on-time and on-spec deliverables from outside writers, designers, and production vendors

•Using project management platform to hold self, internal, and external resources accountable to task deadlines

•Using project management platform to communicate effectively with other marketing team members

•Coordinating activities of writers, designers, and production vendors
•Tracking and reporting marketing performance metrics, such as the email master report, content report, and monthly/quarterly reports

•Manage content/collateral versions in (SFDC) and/or other content management system

•Departmental admin support, such as research projects, PO creation/management/support, direct mail projects 



•Four-year/bachelor's degree in marketing or related field. A degree in other disciplines combined with relevant work experience is also acceptable.  

•2-5 years of experience coordinating marketing events, webinars, and campaigns 

•Technically proficient with working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite and event/project management solutions  

•Confident and independent; able to manage projects with minimal supervision   

•Excellent communication skills - oral and written   

•Strong organization and time management skills able to manage multiple projects with competing priorities while ensuring project/event deadlines are met without sacrificing quality  

•Driven, proactive, enthusiastic, and people oriented  

•Collaborative with a positive attitude focused on continuous improvement and growth   

•Creative thinker, able to overcome perceived organizational or resource obstacles  


•Knowledge/experience using Hubspot, Crowd Compass Conference APP, Cvent, Survey Monkey  

•Healthcare, software, or technology industry   

The minimum salary for the position is $50,000.00 annually. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as a candidate’s relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and location.
