As a member of ZOLL Medical IT Team, the End User Support Technician is responsible for engaging with the business users via phone, email or in-person in order to timely and accurately diagnose and resolve IT issues and/or escalate to a Tier 2 support technician when appropriate.  

 

Essential Job Duties: 

  • Providing users with quality service as the 1st level contact and issue resolution for the service desk via telephone, e-mail, and ticketing system

  • New employee setup: create accounts, order hardware, configure and deploy laptop + peripherals

  • Troubleshoot end-user issues with Microsoft Windows OS, Microsoft Office Suite and other business applications

  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, application, network, user access, or related issues (PC & Mac)

  • Participate in security audits and manage ZOLL’s back office systems in accordance with regulatory requirements

  • Engage with 3rd party technology service providers and instruct, monitor and report on activities as necessary

  • Position will offer career-benefitting exposure to a wide range of IT support activities.

  • Minimum travel required

 

Supervisory Duties:  None 

 

Education:  

  • College degree in Computer Science or related field and/or equivalent experience 

  • A+, MCP, MCSE or similar certifications is a plus, but not required 

 

Experience: 

  • 1 - 3+ years experience supporting enterprise business users

  • 1 - 3+  years experience with Microsoft Office Suite including O365

  • 1 - 3+  years experience with Microsoft Windows OS; Windows 10 preferred

  • 1 - 3+  years experience troubleshooting hardware and software problems

 

Skills/Abilities/Knowledge: 

  • Exceptional customer service skills

  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize

  • Excellent communication skills

  • General business writing skills

  • Experience with enterprise hard drive encryption solutions, Microsoft BitLocker preferred

  • Knowledge of enterprise anti-malware tools and endpoint security solutions

  • Experience supporting mobile devices (smartphones, tablets, etc.)

  • Experience supporting a mixed PC/MAC environment

  • Experience with Active Directory, JAMF, Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Intune is a plus

 

The hourly rate for this position is between $25/hr - $30/hr. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as a candidate’s relevant work experience, skills, and certifications.
