Area Manager LATAM EMS North

Job Summary: Drive sales and distribution management for our EMS products in the territory consisting of Mexico, Central America, and the Caribbean. 

Essential Functions:

  • Provide leadership and contribute to growing sales in the territory.
  • Appoint EMS distributors where necessary.
  • Develop a working relationship with Coach Builders in the territory, and with companies in other countries that sell EMS Vehicles in the territory.
  • Provide distribution management and sales support to the local distributor´s sales team.
  • Compile and deliver order and sales forecasts, experience with CRM tools such as will be valued.
  • Develop strong relationship with Business Partners and seek to understand their business model.  Act as a business consultant to them proposing changes or additions that will result in the increase of ZOLL products sales.
  • Responsible for maintaining short range and long-term plans for developing sales within the assigned territory. These plans include: annual business plan and strategic selling analysis (Blue Sheets).
  • Evaluate performance of business partners and replace or improve weak channels.
  • Launch new products, and work with ZOLL regulatory to secure product registrations for all products selling in the territory.
  • Develop and implement sales, clinical and marketing strategy to maximize revenue and profit potential in the market segment: EMS, Fire, Fire Rescue, Civilian Protection systems, including customers in the military, government and private emergency services.
  • Assume and own end customer management in accounts that are considered strategic to ZOLL

Required/Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree and minimum 5 years experience within Indirect (distribution) or direct sales management EMS market.
  • Market development experience
  • Experience in selling premium products will be valued
  • Experience in working for a growth company
  • Strong track record of delivering sustained profitable growth in the healthcare market
  • Experience as EMT/Paramedic is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrable capacity to understand and present medical devices to distributors and end customers
