Summary:

Responsible for creation, maintenance, and processing of all financial reporting for the ZOLL Chelmsford operation.  Works with local Finance organization IT to constantly evaluate business analytical & system needs, requirements and opportunities related to Financial Reporting, Consolidations and Budgeting.  This resource will be a key contributor to ZOLL’s implementation of the ORACLE HFM, Oracle data quality and Oracle Hyperion Budgeting applications. 

Essential Functions:

  • Development, enhancement and maintenance of Oracle, Hyperion, Crystal, and financial reporting analytics.
  • Establishment and maintenance of timely standard financial reporting packages for Executive Management.
  • Produce, distribute, and maintain periodic financial reports including orders, revenue, backlog, cash, etc. on a daily basis.
  • Coordination and management of the Core businesses quarterly, bi-annual, and annual Forecasting and Budgeting process from a data collection and reporting perspective.
  • Works closely with both the sales and customer service organizations to ensure revenue transactions, revenue recognition, are in compliance to insure accurate reporting.
  • Review of existing report configurations and set-ups to ensure they are performing efficiently and effectively.
  • Ad-Hoc Reporting and Analysis.
  • Support Business Development
  • Perform Due Diligence Functions
  • Special projects as requested.

Skill Requirements:

  • Detail understanding of General Ledger systems and GL consolidations
  • Prior employment as an Financial Planning & Analysis Manager
  • Compiling and Consolidation of Annual Budgets and Forecasts
  • Prior Business Development Experience including Due Diligence
  • Oracle E-business suite General Ledger module
  • Hyperion HFM and/or Hyperion Budgeting
  • Experience deploying Hyperion HFM and/or Hyperion Budgeting a significant plus
  • Proficiency with Crystal or Business Objects Report Writing a significant plus
  • Proficiency in SQL/PL-SQL a very significant plus
  • Exposure to or Oracle Business Intelligence/OBIEE a plus.
  • Ability to think creatively, highly-driven and self-motivated
  • Demonstrated ability to roll-up sleeves and work with team members in a hands-on management capacity.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Education Requirements:

  • BA/BS in business or accounting or computer science and or equivalent work experience.
  • Extensive knowledge of Budgeting and Forecasting.
  • Business Development and Due Diligence.
  • 3+ years’ experience working in Finance and  IT supporting Financial applications in general and Financial reporting in particular
  • Direct hands-on experience developing various financial analytics setting up, debugging, and maintaining tools within Hyperion and environments including Planning, HFM, SmartView.
  • Clear and Specific knowledge of the business cycle including; procurement, manufacturing, order management, distribution, revenue, and financial closing cycles
  • Experience analyzing existing environments in order to identify improvement opportunities
