General Summary:  

This position is responsible for developing and delivering initial and ongoing training programs for Circulation products to all Circulation sales and clinical representatives globally; as well as being the clinical and technical expert to support the field team. In addition, this person will work cross functionally to develop E-learning modules and platform to be used internally.

Essential Functions:

  • Train the Circulation commercial team on clinical and technical content for Circulation products.
  • Design, update and implement new hire training and advanced training programs.
  • Develop training curriculum to be used internally and external based on a "blended learning" approach, which could include: web based e-learning, classroom, webcasts, conference calls, face-to-face, written material one-on-one coaching and/or video.
  • Develop metrics to measure, judge, and improve training program performance.
  • Travel with commercial representative in the field to observe and coach them for better performance. The expectation is two field visits with field representatives per quarter with follow-up to manager and individual.
  • Collaborate with internal departments such as Marketing to ensure that messaging and product training are current, and to support product launches.
  • Work closely with the management team, regional sales and marketing leaders to ensure alignment with his or her goals and objectives.
  • Plan and deliver content for the Annual Sales Meeting (ASM), Mid-Year Sales Meeting (MYSM) and regional sales meetings
  • Create and maintain training record for Circulation personnel. Coordinate sales training logistics.
  • Provide awareness and education to the greater ZOLL organization – including as part of The One-ZOLL Advantage (TOZA) initiatives – regarding Circulation product benefits, clinical publications, and ongoing clinical initiatives.
  • Support, train, and lead the activities of Field Sales and Clinical Trainers.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by Management.

Education/Training/Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Past clinical or medical experienced preferred.
  • 4+ years of Medical device industry experience with a minimum of 2 years in field role.
  • 2+ years training experience and position preferred.
  • Strong communication (written/oral) and public speaking skills.
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Office applications and online education content creation platforms preferred
  • Able to interface and communicate with customers and the field team well.
  • Strong project management skills, ability to work independently and as part of a global organization.
  • Ability to integrate divergent information and develop project plans and actions. Travel can be 50% travel if a remote location.
