Position Summary:

The National Accounts, Program Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and executing reimbursement and payer strategies to deliver value to our payer partners and maximize opportunity for ZOLL.  The program coordinator will drive accountability across multiple cross functional channels in reimbursement execution to meet the designed goals of the specific payer program.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Serve as an internal expert on the program implementation assigned while communicating expectations, process optimization, and value to cross functional partners

  • Develop relationships with the assigned payer personnel from both the transactional and strategic level

  • Lead cross functional program execution with consistent opportunities for buy-in and feedback from ZOLL partners

  • Understand payer partners needs in the payer program to drive value to the payer

  • Clearly communicate goals and objectives of assigned payer program to internal ZOLL

  • Execute programs that positively impact physician and patient engagement with the WCD

  • Work with field sales and reimbursement operations to outline successes and opportunities in the current payer program

  • Identify opportunities to improve or build programs to support ZOLL’s goals and objectives

  • Play a lead role in educating other internal partners and stakeholders on evolutions regarding payer practices for pricing, reimbursement, etc. across key markets

  • Performs other duties as assigned by Management.

Educations and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.

  • 2-4 years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Demonstrated initiative in executing strategies to improve results.

  • Strong reimbursement operations background.

  • Fluency in insurance and medical terminology. 

  • Demonstrated leadership and strong communication skills. 

  • Track record of delivering results within a large organization through a collaborative style.    

  • Highly developed organizational and planning skills. 

  • Knowledgeable in the reimbursement and appeals processes.  

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to present and articulate effectively to individuals on all levels.  

Language Skills                                                              

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.  Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.  Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

Mathematical Skills                                                     

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.  Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

Reasoning Ability                                                          

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.  Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
