Billing Support Specialist

Location: Broomfield, CO

Data Management

This position is responsible for processing correspondence, fax, email, and voicemails while maintaining patient confidentiality and accurately inputting patient data.


  • Process daily correspondence
  • Logging receipt date
  • Daily reconciliation of correspondence.
  • Uploading and documenting correspondence to patient accounts.
  • File retrieval via customer SFTP/fax/payor portals.
  • Data Entry
  • Eligibility of benefits and contacting patients.
  • Retrieval of clinical charts and demographic documentation.
  • Applying appropriate workflow to patient accounts.
  • Photocopy Explanation of Benefits (EOB)
  • Document denials in patient accounts.
  • Retrieval and electronic storage of documents from e-fax
  • Responsible for outgoing mail/fax
  • Responsible for logging voicemails to patient account.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
  • Scanning

  • Adhere to company HIPAA confidentially and privacy compliance policies, business and professional ethics, Employee Handbook, and company/department policies and procedures
  • Experience using Microsoft Office
  • PDF (formatting and editing in Adobe Acrobat or equivalent)
  • Position requires HS or GED equivalent
  • Type 45 wpm, 10-key by touch
  • Ability to operate office equipment
  • Candidate must be able to provide documentation to support ability to work in the United States within the federal legal guidelines
