Senior Accountant

Location: Rumford, RI

Resuscitation

Responsible for performing and tracking monthly general ledger closing procedures including preparation and review of journal entries, account reconciliations, and analysis. Additional duties include preparation of monthly & quarterly analytical reports out of Oracle & Hyperion. Annual audit, and supporting various projects as assigned.

Essential Functions:

  • Monthly general ledger closing procedures
  • Control & prepare GL Entries including accruals, payroll and reclasses.
  • Assist in Budgeting preparation and reviews.
  • Support other departments by responding to accounting questions, interpreting financial data, and providing reports & analysis as needed
  • Reporting on various KPI’s including, Inventory, and DL
  • Reconciliation and reporting on fixed assets
  • Monitoring and coordination with Accounts payables
  • Participate in cost controlling initiatives, reporting, and monitoring
  • responsible for ad hoc reporting and special projects as required
  • Prepare, analyze, and maintain monthly account reconciliations

Requirements:

  • 3 - 5 years of related experience in accounting
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Oracle experience a plus
  • Hyperion experience a plus

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration (or finance/Accounting)
