Job Summary:

In this Senior Manager role, you will lead teams of managers, engineers, and analysts responsible for advancing and maintaining ZOLL’s Identity Management, Collaboration and Automation platforms and services. You will have a broad range of responsibilities that require knowledge across multiple domains of enterprise infrastructure focusing on Identity Access, Privileged Management, and Collaboration and Automation solutions. These solutions include Azure, Active Directory, SailPoint, CyberArk, Microsoft 365, Virtual Collaboration and Conferencing Platforms, and ServiceNow. As the Senior Manager of these teams, you will be accountable for the end-to-end engineering support delivery for our end users, building and demonstrating a critical partnership with internal and external stakeholders for these shared platforms and services. 

You are a customer focused Manager who will lead, develop, coach, mentor, and evaluate our Identity and Collaboration teams, setting a high bar for excellence, and lead high performing teams that will deliver extraordinary service. This role requires strong operational, leadership, and technical skills to manage a team of engineers responsible for providing world class support to our customers. This role will require you to understand and apply a wide variety of concepts, practices, and procedures of enterprise engineering, and you will need to lead a team to resolve a broad range of issues in creative ways. 


Essential Functions:

  • Lead high-performing teams that will support our customers and resolve critical and complex technical issues in a 24x7x365 environment. 

  • Define and own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for Identity Management and Collaboration to meet ZOLL’s growth and business objectives. Evangelize the vision constantly so stakeholders are aligned, have context, and understand where we’re going.

  • Ensure platform resiliency, security, scalability, and availability across these platforms.

  • Present complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences and key stakeholders as well as showcase the value proposition and progress against goals.

  • Interact with executive team members, decision makers, and stakeholders to define business requirements and system goals, and to identify and resolve business system issues.

  • Enable a customer focused environment where team members can champion and advocate for our customers and be a change agent to develop innovative ways to resolve their issues. 

  • Provide expertise in the development of standards, governance, and practices for identity and collaboration systems. 

  • Create standards and best practices that simplify and optimize support capabilities, and drive adoption across multiple service teams across Global IT.

  • Lead a team of managers and engineers at various stages of their careers, actively investing in their growth and development. Cultivate an open, collaborative, and fun work environment for yourself and your teams.

  • Create an inclusive work environment where every employee can effectively engage and wants to be part of the team. Provide ongoing feedback that helps direct reports improve their performance.   • Lead the development of offering proof-of-concepts and effectively transition those concepts into architecture.

  • Perform cost-benefit, return-on-investment, and security risk analyses for proposed systems to aid management in making implementation decisions.

  • Interact, negotiate with, and manage vendors, outsourcers, and contractors and the resulting relationships to align priorities and plan roadmaps.

Skills Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience delivering solutions and support to enterprise customers 

  • 10+ years of experience managing and leading highly technical teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

  • 10+ years of Microsoft 365 Collaboration suite and Azure cloud enterprise experience

  • Understanding of Identity and Access Management principles as applied to the support of and integration with key business and strategic priorities.

  • Working effectively under pressure with constantly changing priorities and deadlines.

  • Demonstrating proven success in Project management of region and/or global related projects.

  • Possessing ITIL Process Management knowledge to ensure compliance and use of global, regional and/or site defined processes.

  • Working knowledge of security requirements as related to user provisioning and privilege access management.

  • Strong communication skills with executive presence, including the ability to hold executive level discussions, exceptional interpersonal, verbal, written and presentation skills required.

  • Experience in overseeing the design, development, and implementation of technical systems, applications, and related products.

  • Experience with systems planning, security principles, and general enterprise level infrastructure best practices.

  • Demonstrated ability to recruit and develop and lead geographically dispersed teams

  • Ability to innovate and drive change

  • Ability to build trust and relationships with internal teams and customers


Required/Preferred Education and Experience:

  • BS Information technology equivalent or related experience preferred

  • 10+ years of industry experience preferred
