The Compliance & Data Privacy Coordinator supports the EMEA CPG manager on the development of the data privacy and compliance program in Europe, completing diverse data privacy and compliance projects and initiatives to comply with GDPR and other privacy regulations in the region.

Travel: 10 - 25% of the time, primarily across Central Europe

Location: Central Europe

Language: Fluent English and ideally one of German, Italian or French

Areas of Responsibility:

  • Program Management: Supports in the implementation of related data privacy projects and initiatives according the annual ZOLL privacy program.

  • Risk Management: Supports the EMEA CPG manager in conducting compliance and data privacy risk assessments in the business and developing and supporting implementation of mitigation plans.

  • Monitoring and Auditing:  Conducts Audit and Monitoring activities according to the annual Audit and Monitoring plan, including assessments of the data privacy program, processes and activities to ensure alignment with ZOLL’s Compliance objectives.

  • Investigations:  Supports EMEA CPG manager conducting  investigations into Compliance and Privacy related issues, allegations, or identified areas of risk as required. 

  • Corrective Actions:  Implements and tracks appropriate and consistent corrective actions for identified compliance issues and assessment activities.  Conducts assessments to determine effectiveness of corrective actions.

Experience and Personal qualities:

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Law, Political Science, Economics, or related discipline.

Professional Experience:  

  • Minimum of two years of experience related to a privacy and data protection program with-in a business, or other complementary job experience working in a data-centric environment, whether it is market research, financial services, pharmaceutical etc.

  • Knowledge of GDPR and different international data protection legislation

  • Project Management experience conducting diverse complex project simultaneously

  • Experience in Healthcare industry – Device, Pharma, or Biotech is preferable.

  • Good skills using Excel

  • Experience using ERP systems (SAP, JDE, Oracle, Cognos..)

  • Experience understanding and assessing operational processes and internal controls.


  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong ability to communicate complex topics in concise terms.

  • Ability to communicate concisely and persuasively in writing as well as the ability to draft clear and effective reports, policies etc.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Self- motivated and result driven.

  • Ability to work in a matrixed organization, across cultures and functions with all levels of the organization.
