Territory Manager Ventilation (Italy)

Job Summary:

Responsible for the achievement of Territory Sales Quota, manage and develop customer base, control expenses while contributing to ZOLL's profitability. Cover assigned territory promoting products to the pre-hospital (EMS) market, including fire departments, ambulance services, Military and Hospital markets. Territory is Italy. International travelling for trainings and meetings (max 5-10% of time).

Essential Functions:

  • Maintain short range and long term plans for developing sales within Italy for EMS and Hospital markets.

  • Responsible for driving new business opportunities, developing and keeping up-to-date an adequate pipeline of potential sales opportunities to meet territory sales expectations.

  • Serve as the Ventilation focal point in Italy and drive attention throughout the ALS sales teams.

  • Provide in-service, product demonstrations and education to customers, agents and distributors.

  • Coordinate efforts with the EMS and Hospital Territory Managers in Italy to ensure alignment of opportunities.

  • Cover assigned geography and assist assigned Territory Managers in promoting Ventilator products to the EMS and Hospital markets.

  • Work in close partnership with local Marketing and Clinical Support team.

  • Responsible for maintaining organized account records, including account profiles and maintaining those in the company CRM, Salesforce.com.

  • Achieve leading market share status for ZOLL in professional markets

  • Develop and manage relationships with local Key Opinion Leaders and key influencing groups to drive ZOLL features

  • Planning, monitoring and delivering required activity levels in terms of quantity, direction and quality to achieve ventilation targets

Skills Requirements:

  • Experience or ability to work as part of a collaborative sales organization

  • Strategic and customer-oriented selling skills

  • Ability to effectively present complex ideas and subjects, both in writing and verbally.

  • Ability to effectively present in front of an audience with clarity.

  • Professional and ethical behavior and character

  • Organizational/Territory Time Management skills

  • Good interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills

  • Technical and clinical knowledge to speak competently about ZOLL products

  • Fluent English and Italian

  • Excellent computer skills. (Microsoft Word, Excel & Power Point, CRM systems)

  • Ability to lift 50 lbs = 24 kg.

  • 80% Travel (within Italy) required

Required/Preferred Education and Experience:

  • College / Bachelor degree preferred

  • Capital equipment sales (Desirable)

  • Working for a growth company with highly specified/premium price
