Manufacturing Technician

Location: Pawtucket, RI

Resuscitation

To assist Manufacturing Engineers in the following phases of manufacturing;

  • New product validations
  • New equipment/process validations
  • Procuring equipment, materials or samples
  • Sustaining process improvement projects


Primary Functions:

  • Perform electrical and mechanical bench tests
  • Work with new equipment or processes to perfect the process
  • Write instructions for calibration, maintenance and operation of new equipment
  • Compile test results
  • Write and revise Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Execute process validation, test method validations, gage R&R’s based on written protocols.
  • Provide direction to personnel assembly new product or test samples.
  • Time studies.
  • Create Engineering Change Notices (ECNs)

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in engineering or other technical discipline.
  • Advanced degree and/or applicable certifications (ASQ, CQA or CQE, 6cr Black Belt) desired.
  • 0-2 years experience in a supplier quality engineering support roll.

Education and Experience:

  • Minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent with an Associate’s degree desirable
  • 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment with exposure to testing applications, measuring devices and assembly processes.
