Accounting Analyst II

Job Summary:

This position, based in Finance will work in conjunction with IT and other Administrative resources to support ZOLL Medical’s business.  The person in this position will contribute to financial reporting for internal business groups and functional areas and be responsible for the maintenance and improvement of the Xactly commissions system. This involves researching, testing, documenting, and implementing system changes.  This role also supports the purchasing process/approval hierarchy in the Oracle ERP system.

Essential Functions:

  • Participates in end of month closing by entering journals and providing internal functional group support
  • Prepares internal reports
  • Performs financial analysis and reconciliations
  • Assists with both financial and technical applications projects
  • Ownership of spending approval hierarchy in the Oracle ERP system and maintenance of the authorization/approval matrix.

Xactly/Commissions Functions:

  • Collaborates with internal customers to gather requirements and implement system configuration changes
  • Coordinates with IT on the processing of monthly commissions
  • Maintains documentation of the commissions process
  • Designs, develops and maintains reports and dashboards
  • Provides Tier I support to Xactly Incent commission application users and sales management team, working with IT to escalate Tier II issues
  • Works with IT staff as the financial technical lead for Xactly commissions application
  • Supports key stakeholders

Skills Requirements:

  • Excellent organizational skills with ability to set priorities and meet deadlines
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills
  • Experience with commission application usage or support is highly preferred
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; strong MS Office skills
  • Oracle or Hyperion experience is preferred

Required/Preferred Education and Experience:

  • 2+ Years of experience in an Accounting/Finance role is a must
  • BA/BS degree is required (in Accounting/Finance is highly preferred)
