We are looking for an experienced Senior Scrum Master to help us deliver our clinical software application portfolio. These products are a mix of enterprise software applications and cloud-based solutions delivered on our ZOLL Online cloud platform on AWS. ZOLL Data Management delivers high performance mission-critical acute care emergency healthcare services to our customers ranging from small EMS agencies to large hospital-based healthcare systems. We also provide a suite of clinical healthcare software solutions that support and enhance the value of ZOLL Medical’s market leading critical cardiac care medical devices. As the leader of the Clinical applications team you'll join other outstanding product and engineering leaders to work hard, have fun, and lead the future of healthcare cloud solutions. 

The Senior Scrum Manager will lead the delivery of our clinical applications software teams. This would include process definition, Agile Scrum-based Software development, Hybrid Agile based module development along with cross functional communication, software technical project management, requirements traceability, risk management, source code control, test case management and defect tracking. This position also defines the metrics to be used to track process improvement. This position also represents the team to report status of multiple Agile feature teams to leadership.

 

The Sr. Scrum Master will be required to work within a global organization and work closely with Product Management, Marketing, Sales, in addition to engineering. This role will work with multiple development partners to build a scalable software development lifecycle process.

Responsibilities

  • Be a leading voice to evolve ZOLL Data’s SDLC and ensure Agile processes are defined, refined and followed by all teams.
  • Collaborate with partners to ensure that Agile process principles are understood and followed. Implement processes, practices, and tools allow for multiple paths of delivery. I.e., create simplified, consistent, reusable, efficient and flexible methodologies
  • Recommend improvements and drive alignment across the Engineering organization
  • Serve as an Agile Coach and Mentor within the organization
  • Coach and mentor the organization to facilitate adoption of Agile processes and improve maturity
  • Lead and influence others including those more senior on best practices
  • Inspire others to adopt the new processes and improvements based on program retrospectives
  • Detailed knowledge of development of test cases and the roll of TDD within the Agile process.
  • Agile technical project management of multiple software releases
  • Use of metrics to measure productivity and drive improvements and efficiencies across teams
  • Work with 3rd party software parties to integrate solutions with our clinical applications
  • Work across multiple technical teams to develop best-of-breed clinical software solutions
  • Organize and execute software team training, mentoring, Agile Sprint Ceremonies.
  • Worked with JIRA to support multiple code streams.
  • Support Continuous builds and integration environment using a range of software cloud-based technologies

Qualifications

Basic Requirements: 

  • 8+ years of Agile scrum master experience preferably with Internet-scale experience
  • 7+ years’ experience with leading multiple product teams with an emphasis on scaling delivery to meet the demands of a rapidly growing business
  • 7+ years of experience delivering commercial software (enterprise and Cloud) software-based products or services to a large customer base
  • Experience of working in the healthcare space a plus especially with clinical care type software applications.
  • Experience developing/delivering Cloud Services on a platform like AWS, Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud.
  • A successful track record of leading Agile product delivery teams
  • BS in Computer Science preferred but BS in other technical and/or engineering disciplines or science degree’s accepted.
  • Requires excellent oral and written communication skills

Preferences: 

  • Certified Scrum Master to enable and train the team on Agile best practices including Create and manage work item tracking in JIRA, tracking features, PBI, tasks and also raising and escalating impediments as needed.
  • Value Proposition: Knowledge of procedures used to demonstrate the ROI of the solution
  • Knowledgeable on Project Management: Knowledge of project management principles and the ability to apply the principles, tools and techniques to develop/plan, manage or execute projects or work plans to ensure successful completion (e.g., on time, within budget)
