The VP of Marketing has responsibility for worldwide marketing for the Resuscitation Business, which represents approximately half of the Company’s 2018 revenue.


  • Report to the President
  • Overall leadership of Resuscitation Business Marketing
  • Direct reports include five Directors, comprised of three market segment leaders, plus Directors of Product Management and Marketing Services
  • Overall marketing staff of approximately 80 worldwide
  • Drive revenue growth and market share by creating customer preferences for the Company’s brand
  • Set tone and agenda for commercial sales activities globally
  • Design compensation structures that rewards team for achieving sales growth goals
  • Cultivate relationships with key clinical opinion leaders, customers and industry peers
  • Thought leader / contributor for new product designs, basic research, clinical and regulatory strategy, new business development


  • An outstanding track record of driving business growth and developing innovative products and programs
  • Has managed groups of at least twenty people, and revenue of $200M+
  • Experience in capital equipment industry(ies), with a strong preference for candidates with experience in medical equipment
  • Experience selling value-added software and services is desirable
  • Natural, intuitive grasp of marketing fundamentals
  • Strategic thinker
  • Flexibility to handle full marketing continuum from to-level strategy to hands-on demand creation and messaging
  • Low-ego team player
  • Active listener, ability to learn through probing Q&A
  • Passion and enthusiasm to develop deep understanding of customer needs

Required/Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree. An MBA is preferred but not required
  • Ten or more years of marketing experience, including at least five years at the Senior Director or VP level
