Job Summary:

Under the guidance of the Compensation Partner, the Benefit Specialist will provide a variety of support across all US facilities.  This role will assist with the administration of ZOLL’s company-wide benefits program, including, but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, 401(k), life insurance and disability.  The Benefit Specialist will also be responsible for partnering with our Corporate benefits team to assist in supporting the various annual initiatives and wellness programs.  

Essential Functions:

  • Oversee all US benefit programs for the Resuscitation Division
  • Oversee claims support for employees and serves as the benefits liaison to the Corporate benefits team
  • Main point of contact and coordinator for all health and welfare programs including Annual Open Enrollment
  • Key communicator between employee and health insurance provider as needed
  • Assist in conducting new hire employee orientation in conjunction with the HR team specific to benefits and as a backup as needed
  • Interface with HRIS/payroll team to ensure proper deductions are in place for employee benefit programs
  • Oversee and manage the disability programs for employees on LOA to include administration of any benefit plans.  Coordinate paperwork, including FMLA and worker’s compensation
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Ability to travel up to 10-15% of the time.  Primarily local travel to Rhode Island with some travel to other US subsidiaries. 

Required/Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Human Resources, business or related field
  • 3+ years of benefits administration experience
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite
  • Experience with an HRIS system, experience using Workday Benefits preferred
