January 19, 2011 - Bristol and Clifton Golf Club in Failand, UK, is now protected by an automated external defibrillator (AED), thanks in large part to a knight. The members and staff of the club raised funds for the AED, in large part by Sir Peter Jeffrey Simpson, a member of the club and the President of the Royal College of Anaesthetists, during his recent sponsored "coast-to-coast" walk. He was knighted in June 2006 for his services to the National Health Service.
