Rosenblum has been appointed to its Board of Directors. With this appointment, ZOLL expands its Board from seven members to eight. Mr. Rosenblum is President of China Operations at Thermo Electron Corporation/Thermo Fisher Scientific, a $9.5 billion leading manufacturer of analytical instruments, scientific equipment and consumables for life sciences and industrial applications headquartered in Waltham, Mass. Prior to his current role at Thermo, which he has occupied since 2006, Mr. Rosenblum was President of the company’s Clinical Diagnostics Division between 2003 and 2005, and President of the Bioscience Technologies Division from 1997 until 2002. Before Thermo, he was President and Chief Executive Officer for the Laboratory Products Group, and prior to that held the same position with Forma Scientific, at Life Sciences International, a U.K.-based global manufacturer and supplier of laboratory equipment. He has also held senior executive positions at TECA Corporation, Picker International, and Johnson & Johnson. Mr. Rosenblum received his undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) from Drexel University and a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of Hartford.
