AED Plus Upgrade Materials
ZOLL Medical Corporation has begun shipping AED Plus Guidelines 2005 Upgrade materials Monday, July 31, 2006.
Performing the upgrade requires downloading new software into your AED Plus and modifying the icons on the face of your AED Plus with icon stickers. To learn more about how to go about upgrading your AED Plus, visit us at www.zoll.com/upgradeinstructions.
Our new upgrade materials provide a CD with the new ZOLL Administrative Software (ZAS) and icon-stickers. We offer:
- AED Plus Upgrade Ten-Kit - Software CD with ten sets of icon stickers.
- AED Plus Upgrade Single-Kit - Software CD with one set of icon stickers.
- AED Plus Upgrade Icon Sticker Ten-Pack - Ten sets of icon stickers (with no software CD).
AED Plus users can perform this upgrade themselves, or they can purchase upgrade services for authorized distributors and third-party providers.
We are offering three different upgrade products.
- AED Plus 2005 Guidelines Upgrade Ten-kit. Includes instruction sheet, ZOLL Administrative Software (ZAS) and ten sets of icon stickers for modifying icons on the face of the AED Plus, and a Software Update Acknowledgement Form to be faxed or sent back to ZOLL when upgrades are complete.
- AED Plus 2005 Guidelines Upgrade Single-kit. Includes instruction sheet, ZOLL Administrative Software (ZAS) and one set of icon stickers for modifying icons on the face of the AED Plus, and a Software Update Acknowledgement Form to be faxed or sent back to ZOLL when upgrades are complete.
- AED Plus 2005 Guidelines Upgrade Icon Sticker Ten-Pack. Includes ten sets of icon stickers with no CD.
A number of third-party providers are offering AED Plus Upgrade Services. A wide variety of services are available. Some providers offer depot service, which requires customers to send in their AED Plus to be upgraded. Others will perform upgrades on-site for customers. FREE UPGRADE MATERIALS UNDER THE GUIDELINES GUARANTEE.
ZOLL's Guidelines 2005 Guarantee promised free upgrade materials to customers who ordered an AED Plus (with older Guidelines 2000 software) after October 3, 2005, and prior to the launch of the Guidelines compatible AED Plus on June 21.
To order your materials free-of-charge under the Guarantee, contact the original provider of your AED Plus, or contact ZOLL Customer Service directly.
Note that the Guidelines 2005 Guarantee covers materials only. ZOLL is not offering upgrade services directly. A variety of third-party providers are offering upgrades and can be contacted via our web site.
Customers who order their materials directly from ZOLL, under the Guidelines Guarantee, should be prepared to provide serial numbers of the products they received and a PO or sales order number. They should also be able to identify the date of their original order.
Customers who wish to upgrade an AED Plus purchased prior to October 1, 2005, can purchase upgrade materials from third-party providers listed on our web site.
